What an enquiry needs
| Item | Why it matters |

| Location | Whether the work is on adopted highway, on a development, or entirely private changes the approvals needed. |
| Area | Square metres, even approximately. It sets the plant, the crew and the programme. |
| What is there now | Bare ground, existing failed surface, or a build-up of unknown depth. Determines whether it is construction or reconstruction. |
| Traffic | Cars only, or laden lorries and plant. Governs the whole pavement design. |
| Drainage | Where water currently goes, and whether it currently goes anywhere. |
| Access and constraints | What can reach the site, whether it must stay open, and any hours restriction. |
| Programme | When it is wanted, and whether a date is fixed by something else. |
If a specification exists
Send it. Where an authority or a consulting engineer has specified the construction, that specification governs and pricing is straightforward. Where none exists, we will say what it needs in order to propose one.
Then what
Every enquiry is answered. A price follows a site visit and a defined scope, and it arrives in writing. Nothing on this page is a quotation.
